Osmanthus cake is a traditional Chinese snack with a history of more than 300 years, made from glutinous rice flour, sugar, and sweet-scented osmanthus honey. It has a long history and is diverse.

Ingredients

500 grams of glutinous rice flour, 300 grams of japonica rice flour, 250 grams of white sugar, an appropriate amount of vegetable oil, and sweet-scented osmanthus

Step:

1. Sieve the glutinous and japonica rice flour first, add white sugar, knead with water and mix well.
2. Steam the kneaded cake flour in a basket for about a quarter of an hour. Then wrap the cake flour with wet gauze, and keep pressing and kneading until the noodles are smooth and the cake flour is fine.
3. Flatten the cake flour, stretch it into long strips, apply vegetable oil, sprinkle with dried sweet-scented osmanthus, and cut into long squares.
